Become a Chanil volunteer
Give your time and skills to help young people into the digital world.
Volunteers working with young people must be adults and sign our child protection charter.
VolunteerForms are hosted by Google Forms (third-party service). Information you submit is used only by Chanil to organise its activities and is never sold.
Child protection
Many of the people we work with are under 18. These are the rules Chanil follows to protect young people, their families and our teams.
On our website
- This page collects no personal data and uses no advertising cookies.
- Under 15: ask a parent before filling in a form or contacting us.
- We only ask for strictly necessary information (name, contact, age).
- Parents can request access to or deletion of their child's data at any time: hello@chanilglobal.org.
At our talks
- Participants under 18: signed parental consent required.
- Under 13: a responsible adult must attend the whole talk.
- No photo or video of a minor is published without written consent from their legal guardians.
- Sessions take place in open spaces, supervised by at least two Chanil adults.
For volunteers
- Volunteers working with young people must be 18 or older.
- Signing the Chanil child protection charter and providing a criminal record extract (bulletin n°3).
- Never alone with a minor: always at least two adults, in an open space.
- No private contact with a minor (social media, messaging) outside official Chanil channels.
- 16–17 year olds may help on tasks that do not involve supervising young people, with parental consent.
